LESSONS:
The Museum offers unique lessons
in our expanded Art Studio. These activities are FREE with Museum
admission, and seating is available on a first-come, first-served
basis. Art lessons are available to children 5 and older. Pre-school lessons are also offered for ages 2 through 4. Call the Museum at (423)
756-2738 to check today's schedule.
MAY:
Watercolor Landscapes
Children will create landscape scenes using different watercolor techniques.
JUNE:
Corrugated Relief Prints
Corrugated card-board gives these prints an interesting texture and appearance.

ARTISTS-IN-RESIDENCE:
Culturally Diverse Art!
Artist residencies provide great opportunities for
children to experience new skills. No registration is required
and these activities are FREE with paid admission. Most activities
are held in the Museum atrium, unless noted. Residencies are
funded by the Tennessee Arts Commission and Allied Arts.

TaleSpin Storytelling Event:
10 Saturday 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. Museum Auditorium Four storytellers from the TaleSpin event will share kid-friendly stories for museum guests and members.
Chattanooga Symphony & Opera:
17 Saturday 2 p.m. & 3 p.m. Museum Auditorium Chattanooga Symphony & Opera presents the Wind Ensemble.
Trick Dancing with Corey Diamond and Travis Ford:
31 Saturday 1 p.m. & 3 p.m. Museum Atrium Trick dancing is a mixture of martial arts, break-dancing, and jumping performed in quick movement.
JUNE :
Steel Pan Performance:
21 Saturday 1 p.m. & 3 p.m. Museum Atrium
Cartoon Illustration workshops with Tim Oliphant:
24-26 Tuesday-Thursday Museum Art Studio Join us for these fun workshops. There will be four workshops per day.
Dog Days of Summer Parade:
28 Saturday 9 a.m. - 10 a.m. Museum Plaza Members and guests are invited to bring their four-legged friends to the Museum for a parade and contest to identify Chattanooga's BIGGEST dog. Plenty of water and treats will be available. This event is in celebration of our summer exhibit, Clifford.
