ARTHUR™
ADVENTURE DAYS AT CREATIVE DISCOVERY MUSEUM
Every Saturday from February 12 to May 14
is an Arthur Adventure Day
Arthur
and his friends love to have fun, so in honor of “Arthur’s
World” visiting Creative Discovery Museum, we are declaring
every Saturday during the exhibit (through May 14) to be an
Arthur Adventure Day! These days will be full of fun stuff,
arts and crafts, visits from Arthur, and some special surprises.
Every day during spring break will also be an Arthur Adventure
Day. Here at Creative Discovery Museum we will celebrate our
spring breaks from March 21 to March 25 and from April 4 to
April 11. Arthur Adventure Days begin at 10 a.m. and won’t
end until 4 p.m. on each day.
Every
Arthur Adventure Day will
feature the following activities:
- Children
are invited to come upstairs into “Arthur’s
World” where they can help create an Arthur mural
from 10 a.m. to noon. Kids can draw pictures of Arthur and
his friends, write messages or contribute any type of artistic
expression.
-
From noon to 1 p.m., kids can make Arthur tool belts in
the exhibit’s Creation Stop. Children can color and
cut out tools to tape onto an Arthur tool belt that they
can fasten with a paper clip.
-
Kids will make Arthur star wands at Creation Stop from 1
to 2 p.m.
-
Children can meet Arthur upstairs in his exhibit from 2
p.m. to 3 p.m. every Saturday during the exhibit’s
stay at Creative Discovery Museum.
- From
3 to 4 p.m., children can visit Creation Stop for self-guided
instructions showing them how to draw Arthur or his sister
D.W.
Special
Surprises? The Chattanooga Hamilton County Bicentennial Library,
WTCI TV 45, and Project Ready for School will take turns visiting
the Museum every Saturday to bring unique opportunities to
visiting families. Parents can enroll their children in Project
Ready for School, sign-up for a library card, or join the
WTCI Kids Club while enjoying a fun Arthur art activity provided
by TV 45. March 19 will be an extra special Adventure Day,
because we’ll be opening our new Rooftop Fun Factory.
There’s
always something new to do at Creative Discovery Museum, so
don’t miss out on the fun. Call the Museum at
