PENGUIN PLAYERS PERFORM
A TALE TO TICKLE YOUR FUNNY BONE AT
CREATIVE DISCOVERY MUSEUM
Dollywood’s
Fabulous Penguin Players
Present “My Lucky Day” on Saturday, April 21
(April
16, 2007) –What’s for dinner? A cleverly crafted
answer wins kids over every time when a would-be sly fox is
outwitted by one little pig in the wonderful story, “My
Lucky Day”.
In
conjunction with the Hamilton County Bicentennial Library
and Dollywood’s Imagination Playhouse, the Penguin Players
will bring to life Keiko Kasza’s masterminded tale “My
Lucky Day” on Saturday, April 21 at 11:00 am in Creative
Discovery Museum’s Auditorium.
This
special performance includes music, dance, and an original
song written by Dolly Parton.
Creative
Discovery Museum partners with Project Ready for School to
promote Imagination Library, a program developed by Dolly
Parton to encourage children to explore the wonders of reading
at an early age. Penguin Group USA is the sole publisher for
Imagination Library and the Penguin Players bring stories
to life in Dollywood’s Imagination Playhouse. Through
this innovative program, children under the age of 5 receive
a free, hardcover, age appropriate book each month. The Museum
regularly welcomes Project Ready for School to enroll children
in the program during Free Family Night.

Hours of operation vary according to season: March
to Labor Day: The Museum is open 10 a.m. ET to 5
p.m. ET, Monday through Saturday, and Noon to 5 p.m. ET on
Sunday (last ticket is sold at 4 p.m. ET and building closes
at 5 p.m. ET) Labor Day to February: The
Museum is closed Wednesdays; open Noon ET
to 5 p.m. ET on Sundays; and open 10 a.m. ET to 5 p.m. ET
all other days during the week (M, TU, THU, FR, SAT) (last
ticket is sold at 4 p.m. ET and building closes at 5 p.m.

Museum is open all holidays except Thanksgiving, Christmas
Eve, and Christmas Day. Ticket prices are $8.95 per person.
The last ticket is sold one hour prior to closing. Family
memberships with unlimited visitation are $75 annually. Call
