Employment Positions

Outreach Educator

Creative Discovery Museum, a hands-on museum for children, seeks an innovative part-time Outreach Educator to be responsible for teaching outreach lessons in preschool and elementary classrooms.   The position is also responsible for administrative duties such as maintaining supplies and keeping accurate records of school visit information.  General knowledge of classroom curriculum and child development is required. An ability to work well with others and have an easy rapport with children. Well organized, positive attitude and independent worker.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree (or beyond) in elementary education or related field. At least three years previous experience teaching and managing children in a self-contained classroom setting
