Membership

 

Have a year's worth of fun for the cost of a couple of visits. Become a Creative Discovery Museum member for as little as $85 a year and visit us any time you like (during regular Museum hours of course).

All of our memberships include the following benefits:

  • Free admission to the Museum for 12 months
  • Express check-in when you have your membership card
  • $2 off tickets for guests of members (with members in attendance)
  • Discounts in Cafe Dino-Mite and Museum Gift Shop
  • Discounts on Birthday Parties, Camps, Workshops and Homeschools
  • Invitation to Members-only events such as Monsterbash and special exhibit openings
  • Discounts at the Tennessee Aquarium, IMAX and River Gorge, including
    • $2.50 per adult discount admission and $1.50 per child discount admission to the Aquarium
    • $2.50 discount per ticket for The River Explorer
    • $6 tickets for all 45 minute films at the IMAX
    (You must present membership card for these discounts)

We have five different levels of membership. Which one is the right size for YOU?

My Family - $85

Our basic level of membership, the "My Family" membership allows two adults and up to four children per visit to come to the Museum. Have more than four at home? Don't worry. Just let us know when you complete the membership application.

My Family +1 - $110

  • All the benefits of "My Family" PLUS one free guest admission per visit.

Grandparents & Me -$85

  • Free admission for two grandparents in the same household plus all grandchildren under the age of 18 regardless of where they live.

Grandparents + 1 - $110

  • All the benefits of "Grandparents & Me" PLUS one free guest admission per visit.

Nationwide Family - $135

  • The highest level of membership. All the benefits of the "My Family +1" PLUS free admission to over 100 children's museums nationwide through the Association of Children's Museums' (ACM) reciprocal program.

Please note - Participants in the ACM program are identified by a sticker on their membership card. While you can get into Creative Discovery Museum using a photo ID, you MUST have your card with this sticker to use the membership at any of the other participating museums. Please allow for adequate processing time if you're planning to take this membership on vacation with you.

Try Before You Buy

Not positive that a membership is right for your family? Take advantage of our TKT program! Come to the Museum and have fun. Try us out! But hold on to your receipt for tickets you purchased that day! You can use the money you paid for tickets that day and apply it toward any of our memberships. For example, if you spent $49.75 on tickets (which would be the cost of five tickets) you'd give your receipt to a staff member at the ticket desk and pay just $35.25 to start the membership that day.
