Children of Hangzhou

Explore the culture of China without leaving Chattanooga! Children will be amazed as they follow four children from Hangzhou at home, in school, in the library, in the theater and in the countryside. The “Children of Hangzhou” will introduce themselves through media and activities of their daily lives. The Children of Hangzhou exhibit will build a bridge to allow Creative Discovery Museum visitors the opportunity to feel like they are in China. The exhibit will also feature Chinese life today mixed with ancient traditions and modern lifestyles that will allow visitors to see that life in China is both very similar and different to life in North America.
