Art Lessons
The Museum offers a weekend schedule of Art Studio lessons. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Open to children 2 and older. Call the Museum at (423) 756-2738 to check for last minute schedule changes.

Funky Food Fabric: In this class, playing with food is a must. Kids learn how even the basic of house-hold condiments can be used to paint fabric.
Artists-In-Residence
Culturally Diverse Art! Artist residencies provide great opportunities for children to experience new skills. No registration is required and these activities are FREE with paid admission. Most activities are held in the Museum atrium, unless otherwise noted. Residencies are funded by the Tennessee Arts Commission and Allied Arts. Please note -- all programs are subject to change. Resident artist David Edgars will be making a six foot in diameter hand sphere using recycled laundry detergent bottles. Children and adults are encouraged to participate in this ‘hands-on’ artwork.
