Science and art collide in this surreal, eye catching exhibit. Made especially for Creative Discovery Museum, the Barsamian sculpture uses the scientific principle persistence of vision to trick the eye into seeing a sculpture in animation.
Creation Station
Creation Station is a fun and easy hands-on activity center where children and adults can unwind and create while taking a rest between gallery exhibits. Activities are designed by staff and change monthly.
Corner Clinic
The doctor is in at Creative Discovery Museum. Help your children become more comfortable with doctor visits by letting them explore a realistic doctor's office.
Discovery Library
Cuddle up and read a book in the Discovery Library. There are lots of books to choose from and the library provides a quiet, relaxing space for families to unwind. Discovery Library is a branch of the Chattanooga Hamilton County Bicentennial Library system. Books checked out at Discovery Library can be returned to the Museum on your next visit or at one of the Chattanooga Library branch locations.
Bee Garden
What's the buzz? The bees at the Creative Discovery Museum. Experience the complexity of nature as you and your family observe the bees hard at work in our full-size Honey Bee Observation Hive.
Optics Gallery
Your eyes will be playing tricks on you as you head down the hallway to the tower. Using funny mirrors, giant kaleidoscopes, and depth perception, the optics gallery will have you laughing at what you see.
Lookout Tower
The Lookout Tower is easily the most recognizable feature of our Museum. Enjoy a bird's eye view of Chattanooga from atop our observation deck on our amazing tower.
