Our Current Demo: A Light Look at Science
Weekends at 3:15 p.m.
Times on weekdays will vary.
What do fire, electricity, and some gases have in common? They all can make light! Learn about the science of light in this fun and illuminating science demonstration. Bend light, make rainbows, and learn more about this important part of our life! Volunteers from our audience help us create and demonstrate the qualities of light and the different ways it can be made and changed.
Scientist-In-Residence
The Scientist-In-Residence program provides an opportunity to get hands-on experience with Chattanooga area scientists. Periodically scientists are invited to visit the Museum and share their knowledge with our guests. All scientists in residence share their knowledge and illustrate their subject using hands on and interactive activities. Not only will you have the chance to learn about what they do, but you will also have a chance to experience it first hand. Please check the calendar of events for upcoming Scientist in Residence.
