Necklaces by YOU!

Create one-of-a-kind necklaces using simple materials found around the home!

 

 

Materials:

  • Construction Paper, cardboard, old boxes with colorful printing
  • Scissors
  • Hole Punch
  • String or yarn
  • Drinking straws

DO THIS:

  • Cut the construction paper, cardboard, or boxes in to circles and squares of various sizes.
  • Cut the straws in to different lengths
  • Use the hole punch to punch holes on either side of the shapes you cut out
  • String together the shapes and straws, alternating shapes and straws
  • Tie the ends of the string together and wear your necklace proudly!

You can also try tying leaves, flowers, shells, and other things you find on your necklace for a variety of effects!
