This holiday season, when so much attention is focused on giving, Creative Discovery Museum is opening a brand new exhibit -- created locally by its own staff -- dedicated to giving and helping others.
Marble Mania at Science Theatre
Creative Discovery Museum’s Science Theatre at Northgate Mall celebrates the grand opening of its newly remodeled space with a special Fourth Friday Family Fun Night devoted to marbles. The event will be held on Friday, Sept. 26, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. “Marble Mania” will be a hands-on celebration of the fun and science of marbles, with a world renowned marble expert, some young marbles champions and lots of activities.
Magician Lance Johnson
Visitors to Creative Discovery Museum will see unbelievable illusions and vintage magic when fourth generation magician Lance Johnson performs on Saturday, July 12.
Red, White and Blue Days
Fourth of July means fireworks, but not necessarily the combustible kind. Red, White and Blue Days at the Creative Discovery Museum features "Bubble Wrap Fireworks" as part of the Museum's three-day celebration of Independence Day.
New Corner Clinic Exhibit Opens

United Way and Creative Discovery Museum Partner to Form the Early Childhood Leadership Academy
United Way and Creative Discovery Museum are partnering to improve early childhood education in Hamilton County. Now that partnership has led to the creation of the Early Childhood Leadership Academy. This new leadership development program provides professional and leadership training for 22 directors of childcare programs in Hamilton County.
Fourth Friday Family Fun Night at Science Theatre
Creative Discovery Museum Science Theatre invites kids to solve engineering challenges, just like the kids on the PBS television show, Design Squad! It's part of a new program at Creative Discovery Museum Science Theatre called Fourth Friday Family Fun Night. The inaugural February event will celebrate Engineering Week on Feb. 22 with a program modeled on the popular PBS Design Squad show.
PlayGym
PlayGym is a carefully designed program that encourages the development of motor skills, cognitive skills, social skills, and self-confidence. Fun-filled, age appropriate activities using colorful gym equipment and sensory stimulation provide a wealth of "food" for the brain. Parents and children make friends, share special time together, enjoy new experiences, and have fun.
