Simple, Energetic, Mysterious and… Edible?
Learning is always fun for Homeschool groups at Creative Discovery Museum and the Science Theatre at Northgate Mall!
Chattanooga, TN - For experiences that will bend the brain, tickle the funny bone, and make your hair stand on end, Homeschool is in session at Creative Discovery Museum and the Science Theatre at Northgate Mall.
Creative Discovery Museum is changing up their schedule this year by offering 2 hour sessions, 2 times each month. The sessions will include hands-on activities, instructional time in the Museum, and in-depth information on specific topics. The Fall schedule of classes include Simple Machines, From Seed to Table, and Full of Energy. Reservations are required in advance. The Science Theatre at Northgate Mall is also offering something new for the 2009-2010 school year. Children will have the opportunity to join the Science Club. The Science Club will meet for 2 hours each week and explore a specific science topic. The Club is open to Homeschool families with children ages 5 – 13. This year’s sessions include Animalia (students decipher clues to reveal the identity of the mystery animal), Mystery Theatre, and Edible Science. Creative Discovery Museum is recognized as one of the top children’s museums in the nation. It is a non-profit organization dedicated to educational enrichment for children ages 4-months to 12-years-old through interactive, hands-on experiences that foster creative and critical thinking.
