Giving Blood is Grossly Underrated
Great Prizes Given to Blood Donors July 27
(July 20, 2010) – Many people may think of blood as gross, but it is also a lifesaving gift. On July 27 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Blood Assurance’s Blood Mobile will be on Creative Discovery Museum’s Plaza hosting a special blood drive and encouraging people to give. In addition to Blood Assurance’s prizes, the Museum will offer incentives for adults who wish to donate blood.
Every person that donates blood will receive a coupon for one free general admission to the Museum good through September 6th. Plus, names of all participants will be put into a drawing for a free one-year membership ($85 value) to the Museum.
Blood donors who receive the coupon will get to visit the Museum in time to explore the Grossology exhibit. This summer, Grossology has provided the Museum an opportunity to give guests even more unexpected “gross” experiences while learning about the human body.

About Creative Discovery Museum
Creative Discovery Museum is open Mon-Sat: 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Sun: noon-5 p.m. 321 Chestnut Street, Chattanooga, TN 37402. Creative Discovery Museum is recognized as one of the top children’s museums in the nation. It is a non-profit organization dedicated to educational enrichment for children age’s 4-months to 12-years-old through interactive, hands-on experiences that foster creative and critical thinking. Summer Hours, June 20-August 15. The Museum will be open every day (Monday through Sunday) from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. beginning June 20. Regular hours will resume on Monday, August 16.
