(February 7, 2011) – Kids can sign up for a healthy helping of fun at Creative Discovery Museum’s “Good For You” Spring Break Camp. This camp for Kindergarten through 5th graders gives children an exclusive experience with the Museum’s own “Good For You: Healthy Fun on the Run” exhibit.

Campers will spend time in the Museum before it opens and interact with our experienced staff as they participate in fun-filled themed activities.  A special field trip to Crabtree Farms will highlight the week.

Camp activities include:

  • Cooking fun and healthy recipes in the Culinary Corner
  • Gardening on the Rooftop container gardens
  • Participating in movement activities such as parachute play, CDM Moves, and jumping to the rhythm of bamboo sticks

Reservations are required for this program and payment is due upon registration. Visit www.cdmfun.org for more information or call Nancy at (423) 648-6045 or Beth at (423) 648-6040 to register.
