Club Discovery Fall 2011: Build it!

Join us this fall as we build on the building blocks of life! Children ages 8-12 are invited to experience Club Discovery—Build It! beginning Tuesdays starting January 24 through February 28 for session one, and session two will be March 20 - April 17. The fun will take place each evening beginning at 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

During Club Discovery—Build It!, children will be learning through building friendships, building good food, building strong bodies and building relationships with animals. Each session will have activities planned around a theme. Life skills will be practiced in a community setting as children sing together, move together, play games together and cook together.

Club Discovery is a free, inclusive after-school program designed to provide a framework for children with and without special needs to investigate their world in a safe environment. During Club Discovery, children are allowed to practice life-skills while participating in activities with each other and supportive adults. While the program is free, reservations for Club Discovery are required and can be made by calling Nancy at (423) 648-6045 or Beth at (423) 648-6040.
