Healthy Me, Healthy You
Work toward your Shape UP! patch with your troop by taking part in our fun workshop that will show you how the body works and give you some fun ideas on healthy living. Can be tailored to suit Daisies, Brownies or Juniors.
Starlight, Starbright, Starlab
Become an astronomer and spend time in our STARLAB planetarium to earn your patch. Explore the solar system, use a telescope or create your own constellation. Suitable for Brownies Space Explorer or Juniors Sky Search.
Art Attack
Find out about famous artists and try out different art techniques to make your own masterpiece. Can be tailored to suit a variety of Brownie Try-Its and Junior Girl Scout Badges.
Dr. Discovery's Science Lab
Enter the world of Dr. Discovery and uncover many science secrets through conducting experiments and investigating how things work. Can be tailored to suit a variety of Brownie Try-Its and Junior Girl Scout Badges.
For Boy Scouts
Rockin' with Rocks
Dig in the dirt, examine fossils, identify rocks, study crystals and pick up a dinosaur poop if you dare! Suitable for Cub Scout Academics & Sports Programs or Boy Scout Merit Badges.

Other Activities
Group Visits
Creative Discovery Museum is a great place for your troop to play, learn and have fun. Museum visits can count as a Cub Scout "Go See It", Girl Scout participation patches or may even go toward earning your Cub Scout troop a National Summertime Pack Award.
Group Volunteering
Building a better community is an important part of all scouting, and we have several opportunities available for your troop to complete a fun community service project by volunteering as a group at the Museum.
