Join us for a day of Dino fun and learn all about our prehistoric friends! Activities throughout the day include:

  • Get a dinosaur stamp at each station to earn a dinosaur prize
  • Follow the trackways to figure out the gait
  • Dress up in dinosaur costumes and get your photo made
  • Meet a Paleontologist and guess whether the sample is a real fossil or not
  • Make a rubbing of dinosaur teeth and determine whether the tooth came from a carnivore or an herbivore
  • Make an instrument to replicate possible dinosaur sounds
  • Use stones to grind grain just like a gizzard
  • Explore lengths of dinosaurs marked on the floor and heights marked on the walls with images
  • Play Dinosaur Bingo at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
  • Create Dino Masks/Headdresses
  • Dinosaurs’ Parade at 2:20 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
  • Dig for fossilized shark teeth in pools filled with sand and gravel

All Dino-Day activities are free with admission to the Museum.
