Dino-Day

Join us for a day of Dino fun and learn all about our prehistoric friends! Activities throughout the day include:
- Get a dinosaur stamp at each station to earn a dinosaur prize
- Follow the trackways to figure out the gait
- Dress up in dinosaur costumes and get your photo made
- Meet a Paleontologist and guess whether the sample is a real fossil or not
- Make a rubbing of dinosaur teeth and determine whether the tooth came from a carnivore or an herbivore
- Make an instrument to replicate possible dinosaur sounds
- Use stones to grind grain just like a gizzard
- Explore lengths of dinosaurs marked on the floor and heights marked on the walls with images
- Play Dinosaur Bingo at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
- Create Dino Masks/Headdresses
- Dinosaurs’ Parade at 2:20 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
- Dig for fossilized shark teeth in pools filled with sand and gravel
All Dino-Day activities are free with admission to the Museum.
