This annual event always gets the Museum a-buzz with activity.  Honey Harvest is a museum wide celebration for some of the world's hardest workers: the Honey Bee.  During Honey Harvest, guests will learn about the art of Beekeeping.  You will be able to observe beekeepers working in the hive, see how honey is extracted from the comb and taste different honeys from around the world.  In the atrium, guests will learn about the many uses of honey, beeswax and pollen.  You can roll your own beeswax candle, create honey lip balm, make honey soap and sample herbs related to the bees. Honey Harvest is held the last Saturday and Sunday of July from 12-4 p.m.  All activities are free with Museum admission.
