January 23, 2009 – Farming Fantastic Fuels
What are Biofuels? Where do Biofuels originate? These ideas and more are explored in this exciting evening about energy needs for transportation and the opportunities for developing fuels from other sources.
February 27, 2009 – Design Squad
Solve engineering challenges just like the kids on the PBS television show, Design Squad! You will need lots of creativity and inventiveness to solve the challenges and develop some amazing contraptions to take home.
March 27, 2009 – Wicked Wind
Enter the Wind Tube Forest and explore wind in wickedly wonderful ways. Create objects that hover, float, fly, race, soar and sink in a column of wind.
April 24, 2009 – Amazing Race
Solve a series of mysteries and challenges to determine where in the world you you’ve landed. Use money to buy clues and develop a strategy to get to your final destination before the other competitors.

June 26, 2009 - Crime Scene Investigators
Learn the basics of crime scene investigation, including fingerprinting, chromoatography, fluid spatter analysis, acid and base indicators and fiber identification. Help us solve the latest mystery at the Science Theatre. We will need lots of help to figure this one out!
July 24, 2009 - Water Ways
Moving water is fun to play with and has some really interesting properties. Come explore the ways of water and build your own waterway.
August 28, 2009 - Blast Off!
Send bottles, cans, balls, and potatoes high into the air. You will use all sorts of things as “fuel” and different kinds of devices to see just how high things can fly.
September 25, 2009 – Marble Mania
Play with marbles and learn lots of science concepts, like forces, transfer of energy, trajectory, and reflection. Explore marble games from around the world. Make a marble wall maze to see who can make their marble fall the slowest. Create homemade marbles using different materials and determine the best marble making substance. Become a Marble Maven!
October 23, 2009 – Freaky Fake-outs
Make some great fake-outs just in time for Halloween! Trick your family and friends with both edible and inedible look-a-likes. It’s grossly fun!
