Coolidge Park


Coolidge Park, a popular six-acre park, has a beautifully restored antique carousel, interactive play fountain, the world's longest pedestrian bridge, open air amphitheater, the Peace Grove, as well as green spaces and picnic areas overlooking the Tennessee River and Lookout Mountain. Coolidge Park is located on the city's thriving North Shore adjacent to eclectic shops, dining, theatre, and entertainment. It is named in honor of Chattanoogan Charles H. Coolidge, a recipient of the Congressional Medal of Honor for Bravery shown during WWII.
