Renaissance Park
Renaissance Park, the newest city park and part of the Tennessee River Walk System, sits next to Coolidge Park. Walk ways under the Market Street Bridge bring visitors to an exciting view of the 21st Century Waterfront and a striking public art piece called the Ascending Path. From there visitors can enjoy this unique 23 acre dog-friendly park with walking trails, wetlands and natural features, hilly overlooks, picnic areas, historical points of interest and an ëenvironmentally conscious' outdoor pavilion. Renaissance Park captures the city's balance between urban renewal and an appreciation of the area's ecology and history.
