Age groups – 5-7, 8-10 (limit of 20 per group)
Learn new and interesting facts about the body that even Moms and Dads don’t know. From the top of our heads to the tip of our toes, we’ll discover new facts about topics like the skeleton bones, the brain box, and the super senses including “oh what a mouth”, “I smell a rat”, “hands off”, “seeing is believing”, and “did you hear that?” We will talk about “it’s skin deep”, and we will have a “crazy hair” day. Special guests will visit the classes to help us understand the importance of taking care of our amazing bodies.

It’s a bird, it’s a plane no it’s really a bird! Birds are not only in our backyards, they hang around lakes, rivers, and ponds and even oceans! We’ll talk about the differences in bird habitats, what they eat, and how they survive. Come learn some very interesting facts about these creatures that fly, swim, and waddle. We’ll even take a field trip to see them fly, swim and waddle!

“POTIONS & CONCOCTIONS”

Age groups – 5-7, 8-10, 11-13 (limit of 20 per group)
Gooey, Yummy, Smelly, Icky and Fizzy describe the types of potions and concoctions students will whip up in this fun series of activities that encourage a better understanding of measuring, fractions, proportions and basic chemistry. Each week will focus on potions or concoctions that fall into one of the five categories. There is something interesting to take home at the end of the each session.

“POWER UP!”

Age groups – 5-7, 8-10, 11-13 (limit of 20 per group)
Build, power and race different forms of transportation in this exciting workshop. Students build a different kind of vehicles each week and power them with different forms of energy. Important connections are made between physics principles of movement, simple machines, energy and the environment. A nail-biting race to the finish line of the Science Theatre race course is the fun finish to each week’s building project.

• In order to receive the discount for signing up for multiple homeschool sessions, full payment and registration for all sessions must be made on the same date.
