Chain Reaction Workshop

At the Creative Discovery Museum
Science Theatre
inside Northgate Mall

What is a chain reaction? A series of events in which one action influences or causes another action. Think of the game Mousetrap or domino chains. Use levers, gears, pulleys, inclined planes, screws, gravity, equal and opposite actions, inertia and your own creativity to build an innovative chain reaction in this very fun, two hour workshop! We provide the materials needed. Area engineers are helping us celebrate Engineering Week and will be on hand to answer questions and provide engineering expertise.

Cost: $7/child (materials fee)

Age: Must be able to stay focused on an activity for 2 hours.
