Service Animal Policy
We welcome all trained service animals at Creative Discovery Museum and use the following guidelines.
A service animal is a dog or miniature horse that is trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with disabilities.
Companion animals, therapy animals and comfort animals are not considered service animals.
The following questions will be asked of each guest with a service animal.
- Is the service animal required because of a disability?
- What work or task has the animal been trained to perform?
If the animal is out of control or if the animal is not housebroken, the handler will be asked to remove the animal from the premises.
Guests with animals not deemed to be service animals may be directed to a boarding facility.
