Ocean Mural Project

Join us on Saturday, June 3 from 12pm - 4pm in the Art Studio for a collaborative mural project with artist Olivia Reckert!

Leave your mark on a piece of art for CDM! Olivia will be working with guests to create an ocean-themed mural in honor of our new traveling exhibit, Wild Kratts: Ocean Adventure!

After contributing to a mural at CDM, take a family trip around Chattanooga to hunt local murals! We have created a map of some of our favorite murals by a variety of artists. Check out the map here and have fun hunting!

About the Artist

Olivia Reckert was raised in Memphis, Tennessee and moved to New York City in 2011. She attended SUNY Fashion Institute of Technology and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Advertising Communications.  She has created murals for offices in NYC, custom holiday windows for storefronts all around NYC and Chattanooga, and has focused on the art of fashion and custom designs.
