Artist in Residence: Debby Dunn

CDM is excited to welcome our March Artist in Residence, Debby Dunn!

Debby majored in Art at Berry College (Rome, Ga), and continued her post-grad studies at Georgia State, Atlanta College of Art, and the (former) Portfolio Center. After college, she worked as an art specialist at The Galloway School (Atlanta), taught children’s art classes at the High Museum (Atlanta), and later, ceramic classes at the Center for the Arts (Panama City, FL). Debby is a Scenic City Clay Arts member and teaches hand-building.

Visit Debby in the Art Studio:

Sunday, March 12 from 11am-4pm
Sunday, March 19 from 11am-4pm
Sunday, March 26 from 11am-4pm

Debby invites children visiting the Museum to work on a wall hanging with her. Children will create clay beads, birds, and animals that will be incorporated into a wall hanging, suspended from multiple vertical stands of cord.

The Artist in Residence program is made possible through funding provided by Tennessee Arts Commission and ArtsBuild.
