Creative Discovery Museum's October Artist in Residence is puppet artist TJ Hanretta.
TJ Hanretta is the owner of Playful Evolving Monsters, LLC, a collective of artists, performers, and educators using puppetry to facilitate personal, social, and environmental well-being.
Sundays, October 15, 22, and 29 from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
TJ's workshop will focus on making monster puppets! For this specific workshop, there will be a limit of three participants at a time in the Art Studio due to space and staff availability.
CDM's Artist in Residence program is made possible through funding provided by ArtsBuild and Tennessee Arts Commission.
Join us in welcoming our November resident, Faviana Gaspar. Guests will be able to hear her play the marimba in our music studio.
