The Art Studio is open every day from 10am-4pm! Explore a variety of techniques and forms of art to create your own masterpiece.

Art Club is one of our after school programs. Each 5-week session focuses on a different art form for children ages 6-8 to practice.

ArtsLive encompasses a variety of professional artist residencies, cultural programs and events, performances, and more! Our events page shows the upcoming ArtsLive activities happening at the Museum.

STEM

Explore the wonders of the natural world and ignite your curiosity with our engaging science exhibits, hands-on activities, and innovative programming.

The STEM Zone gallery features 4 zones - Energy, Robotics, Make It, and Build and Test. Each zone explores different science and technology concepts and practices, creating an abundance of learning opportunities for children and adults alike!

The Make It Workshop is open every day from 10am-4:30pm! Ages 6 and up can practice sewing, embroidery, woodworking, and more supervised by CDM staff.

Sustainability is a core value of the Museum and is practiced in a lot of different ways. A number of our exhibits in STEM Zone also educate our visitors about the importance for adopting sustainable practices in our every day life.

Our YouTube channel features a number of science videos, from DIY activities to science shows and more! These videos are a great way to take the Museum home with you and continue family learning around interests that may have been sparked during your visit to CDM.

early childhood

Explore the wonders of the natural world and ignite your curiosity with our engaging science exhibits, hands-on activities, and innovative programming.

The Little FarmHouse exhibit provides CDM's youngest visitors with a wide array of opportunities for pretend play, from cooking in the kitchen to picking vegetables on the farm.

The Meadow is a soft space for non-walkers to safely explore sensory activities, from mirrors to light boards to a small climber and more.

During our drop-off program, Little Explorers, children ages 3-4 will enjoy exploring seasonal topics as they engage in science experiments, art activities, problem solving, and Museum exploration while socializing with same-age peers.

PlayGym provides children ages 4 month to 2 years and their caregivers an excellent opportunity to learn new vocabulary, make friends, and experience play like never before.
