Our volunteer program fosters the excitement of enriching the lives of children through learning and creativity. Join us today in sharing this enthusiasm with children.
Our Museum Apprentice Program for Teens (MAP program) is designed just for them! The MAPs attend special training sessions to learn about the Museum's operations and exhibits.
MAPs are trained to work in all of our exciting exhibits, and they also provide support for our Birthday Parties, camps, seasonal workshops, and various special events throughout the year. The MAP program requires a commitment of 8 hours per month year-round. Teens develop customer service skills, learn responsibility, and gain self-confidence. They also have a lot of fun! To apply, teens need to fill out an application online.
Applications are now open for MAPs! If your teen is interested in volunteering this summer with CDM, please fill out the application form by clicking the button below. Applications will close on May 16, 2025.
