Research shows sensory activities are the best ways for young children to learn. All PlayGym classes are designed to include multi-sensory stimulation. PlayGym themes provide an excellent opportunity for young children to learn new vocabulary as they experience play like never before!
The Stages of PlayGym
BabyGym - 4 to 14 months
Thursdays 10:30 a.m.
Babies engage in a carefully-planned program that addresses all important areas of early development. Baby sign language, music, movement, socialization, and language development are included in each class. Keepsake art is created every week, giving lots of opportunities for sharing baby's milestones with the family.
Little Ones - 12 to 24 months
Mondays 10:30 a.m., Tuesdays 9:30 a.m., Tuesdays 10:30 a.m., or Fridays 10:30 A.M.
Caregivers and children enjoy activities based on age-appropriate themes that change weekly. Baby sign language gives children communication skills that transfer to the home setting. All classes include seesaw time, choo-choo, bubbles, rhythm band, and process art.
2 Much Fun - 24 to 36 months
Fridays 11:30 A.M.
Similar to the Little Ones class, each Two Much Fun class includes process art, seesaw and choo-choo time, parachutes, bubbles, and rhythm band. In addition, our fun weekly themes provide multi-sensory ways to play and build vocabulary. Children also practice social skills as they learn to share, take turns, and enjoy playing in a group setting.
Preschool Enrichment - 3 years to 4 years

Children experience sensory-filled activities based on rich early childhood literature. Activities such as making ice cream in a ball, planting seeds, and baking pies provide rich connections to delightful literature. This class features some of PlayGym’s favorite components such as seesaws and rhythm band.
- Fantastic Fall Session August 19- October 11 (8 weeks)
Explore, Explore and More! We’ll explore the five senses and explore even more with airplanes and trains! Fall wouldn’t be complete without exploring fun on the farm and playing in the leaves!
- Holiday Happenings Session October 14- December 13 (8 weeks)
October brings fun with pumpkins, spiders, and Halloween parties! Then on to Thanksgiving feasts, jingly bells, and gingerbread fun! (There are no classes the week of Nov. 25-29 in celebration of the Thanksgiving holiday).
- Winter Wonders Session January 6 – February 28 (8 weeks)
Snowmen, Polar Bears, & Penguins OH MY! This winter wonderland session will begin by exploring lights and shadows and end with a transition to spring by exploring all things around the pond. We will include a very “hearty” Valentines party too!
- Hoppy, Floppy Spring Session March 2- April 24 (8 weeks)
Spring is in full bloom in this session when we play in puddles, hop like bunnies, and grow a flower garden. Dr. Seuss, and St. Patrick’s Day celebrations will elevate the fun!
- Marching into May Mini-Session April 27- May 22 (4 weeks)
M is for mini, May and Mom! This session includes them all! From building nests and ramps to a pretend trip to the zoo this session leads us into sweet summertime!
- Sweet Summertime Mini-Session June 1 - June 26 (4 weeks)
What to wear, what to do, what’s the weather? This session will answer all those hot summertime questions! Celebrating dad will take center stage one week while building with blocks and fishing will round out this sweet summertime mini session.
- Jumping into July Mini-Session July 6- July 31 (4 weeks)
The summer sun is hot but fun to explore! This session will cool us off with a trip to the beach, (pretend of course!), ice cream and a lemonade stand!
- Fabulous Fall Fun Session August 17- October 16 (8 weeks)
Fall fun means camping, apples and pumpkins! We will also explore our feelings, play with buses, and become veterinarians! This session wouldn’t be complete without firetrucks for fire safety week! (There are no classes the week of September 7th due to Labor Day).
- Holly Jolly Winter Session October 19- December 18 (8 weeks)
Holiday happenings are the center of this session! October has spiders and bats and a Happy Halloween Party, November will be full of fun food adventures with a farm and feast and December will be merry with Candy Canes and Gingerbread! (There are no classes the week of Nov. 23-27 in celebration of the Thanksgiving holiday).

Classes can fill up quickly and we cannot always accommodate walk-ins.
