Little Explores is a 4-week program that takes place on Mondays from 9-11 a.m. Monthly topics are based on themes that fascinate 3- and 4-year-olds. Children will enjoy exploring these topics as they engage in science experiments, art activities, problem solving and Museum exploration. Each session is designed to be developmentally appropriate and encourage curiosity through hands-on learning.
Please note that children must be potty-trained to participate in Little Explorers.
Little Explorers will build a roof to keep out the rain and a fence to help farm animals stay safe. We will explore marching bands and think about how sound is made. We will examine leaves up close and think about the life cycle of a tree. We will check out pumpkins and explore different smells, textures and colors!
Little Explorers will discover how colors interact through art and experiments. We will investigate the sun, moon and clouds. As we prepare for colder weather, we will learn about animals who love cold weather. We will get in the holiday spirit by playing with gingerbread!
Masks are required for all guests, staff and volunteers ages 5 and up.
