Scouting Day!
Explore the skills that make scouting an EPIC adventure! Families are invited to explore stations led by local Scouts from Troop 176, where kids can learn practical and fun skills.
Throughout the day, guests can participate in:
Knot Tying – Learn classic Scout knots using paracord and take your creation home
Leave No Trace – Discover how to care for nature through a hands-on paper folding activity
Tent Set-Up – Learn where and how to pitch a tent, with timed or blindfolded challenges for older kids
Backcountry Cooking – Explore outdoor cooking methods like camp stoves and Dutch ovens, plus take-home recipes
Flora & Fauna – Identify native plants and animals and create a leaf rubbing to keep
Special thanks to Troop 176 for leading this event!
