CDM's Pre-K Camps are the perfect first taste of summer camp magic!
‍Designed just for 4- and 5-year-olds who haven't started Kindergarten yet, these half-day camps create a welcoming, playful introduction to the camp experience.

• Four hours each day of guided exploration in Museum exhibits and camp classrooms

MONSTER MISCHIEF

June 15-19 | 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

CDM's silly monster friends are ready to play! Camper's imagination will take them on adventures around the Museum with their monster creations.

ROLL, FLY, FLOAT

June 22-26 | 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

It's go, go, go for Pre-K Campers! Explore all things in motion through experimenting, building, and playing with cars, planes, and boats.

ASTRO ADVENTURES

July 6-10 | 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Campers are ready for launch as they build rockets and travel through space with unique sensory stations and imaginative play.

STORY EXPEDITION

July 20-24 | 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

What kind of story will you create? Campers will build their own world through props. characters, and movement to bring their big ideas to life.

Little Engineers

July 27-31 | 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

How does it work? Campers will answer their own question through building, designing, and problem-solving with hands-on projects.

$300/week for non-members
$250/week for members. Not a member? Join today and save!

What do we bring to cdm camp?

• A backpack with a change of clothes (label everything that is sent to camp)
• A nut-free lunch and refillable water bottle (we are unable to heat up or refrigerate camper lunches).
• A daily snack will be provided. If your child has food allergies, we encourage you to pack an extra snack.
  
• Please leave personal technology and electronics at home, including smart watches, gaming systems, etc.

Is Pre-K camp right for my 4- or 5-year-old?

CDM sets the standard for developmentally appropriate practice, and we want your child to have a best-fit experience. Here are some signs that your child is ready for Pre-K Camps:

• Your child is enthusiastically curious about the world and shows interest in engaging with other children.
• Your child is comfortable being left with someone other than their primary caregiver(s) and able to adapt to rich, albeit unfamiliar, environments.
• Your child responds to verbal instructions and redirection and uses their words to interact with others.
• Your child can feed themself independently and use the restroom without assistance.

What if our plans change?

We understand that things come up. Here is our camp cancellation policy:

• 21 or more days before the first day of camp: 100% refund of camp registration fee
• 8-20 days before the first day of camp: 50% refund of camp registration fee
• 7 days or fewer before the first day of camp: No refund of camp registration free

‍‍Please note: registration closes one week before the first day of camp to provide ample time for our staff to confirm allergies, medical histories, and accommodations, setting the stage for a fantastic camp experience!
