Build a new skill in our exclusive STEAM Workshops! Each month, explore and innovate in our workshop with experienced staff that support kids and caregivers through a project. Makers ages 8-12 will develop skills and build their confidence with a variety of technologies. From sewing to woodburning and more, there’s always a new challenge to embrace!
Workshops are once a month on Thursdays and Sundays from 2:30 - 4 p.m.
In this workshop, makers will create personalized desktop organizers for items like pencils and notecards.
Have you ever wanted to work with big tools to build little things? Makers can construct a miniature treasure trove with a secret compartment in this workshop!
Makers will navigate the ins and outs of sewing machines as they create their own puppets in this workshop that's SEW much fun!
In this electric workshop, makers will explore circuits and build their own portable chargers!
Cost is per project and does not include Museum admission.
Each child participating must have an engaged caregiver to provide support. Due to space, only 1 caregiver is allowed per participant. (One caregiver can support up to two children.)
