National Park City PLAY Street

Chattanooga is known as Scenic City for a reason - the natural beauty that surrounds this city is famous worldwide! As the first National Park City in North America, Chattanooga has made its mark as a place that not only loves the outdoors but also wants to take great care of it.

To celebrate Chattanooga as a National Park City, we're bringing our friends from across the community who are the leaders in outdoor play for a day of free fun on the block! Chestnut Street between 3rd and 4th Streets will be closed for the day and partners will activate the street with all kinds of outdoor fun. Come learn about what it means to be a National Park City, some of the people in town who are working on projects that take that vision to the next level, and play outside with family and friends!

The Museum will be open for normal Saturday hours: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. General Admission pricing will apply ($19.95 for guests 2 and up).
