The Pigeon Comes to Chattanooga! A Mo Willems Exhibit
From May 24th to September 7th in the First Floor Traveling Exhibit Gallery.
Watch out - The Pigeon is flying into town, and it’s bringing a whole flock of fun with it!
The Pigeon Comes to Chattanooga! A Mo Willems Exhibit opens on May 24th at the Creative Discovery Museum. This delightful exhibit invites kids and families to enter the whimsical world of beloved author and illustrator Mo Willems, creator of Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! and other hilarious favorites.
Through hands-on activities focused on art, animation, creativity, and just the right amount of silliness, kids can unleash their imaginations, create their own characters, and even try their hand at storytelling. Whether your little ones want to draw Elephant and Piggie or help the Pigeon hatch his next big plan, there’s something here for every budding artist and giggle-lover!
This hands-on exhibit invites kids and families to:
- Drive a wearable bus around the exhibit
- Spin the laundromat washer and find Knuffle Bunny
- Launch foam hot dogs at The Pigeon (he might have something to say about that!)
- Dress up Naked Mole Rat and hit the fashion runway
- Try out art techniques Mo uses in his books
- And so much more!
Explore original sketches and illustrations while discovering the heart and humor behind Mo Willems’ unforgettable characters.
