CDM's certified teachers bring hands-on, standards-based lessons straight to your classroom! Lessons focus on a variety of STEAM topics and are designed for early childhood to 8th grade.

Educator Resources

We never forget about the dedicated educators of our community. That's why we provide resources that can't be found anywhere else.

View It & Do It

We now offer our standards-based, exciting Science Theater lessons in a virtual, flexible, hands-on format through View It and Do It!

Discovery Virtual Learning

Discovery Virtual Learning Experiences provide the opportunity to take advantage of the Museum’s hands-on instruction using the classroom environment.

Bioenergy Lessons Online

These lessons are organized by grade level and are designed to give students a fun, hands-on introduction to the science related to biofuels.

School Group Tours

A classroom tour is a wonderful way to help students make real-world connections between education content and concrete examples.

STEAM Tours

Our STEAM Tours dazzle students with spectacular examples of physical and chemical phenomena and make science come to life.

Family Nights

An evening event for families. Creative Discovery Museum provides all the materials for 9 activities serving up to 300 participants.

Ages 6-8

Welcome to the exciting world of LEGO® brick building! This introductory club allows kids to explore building using their imagination.

Club Discovery
Ages 6-12

Club Discovery is an inclusive after-school program for friends with a diagnosis and their typically developing peers to enjoy the museum.

Interested in robotics and coding? This club is full of assembling and programming robots to complete fun challenges with friends!

Join us for a fun and educational introduction to a variety of different art concepts, techniques and mediums for kids 6-8 years old!

Make It Club
Ages 9-12

Looking for a place to tinker and make things? This club for kids 9-12 years old will explore the interesting happenings in the maker world.

LEGO® Club
Ages 6-8

Welcome to the exciting world of LEGO® brick building! This introductory club allows kids to explore building using their imagination.

Little Explorers
Ages 3-4

A drop-off, 4-week program for children ages 3 and 4 that offers play-based, learning experiences led by our early childhood experts!

Girl Scout Junior Badges

Girl Scout Juniors can work toward a badge at our Scout Workshops located in Chattanooga, Tenn. We will take care of all the details.

Girl Scout Brownie Badge

During a lock-in, a Brownie Girl Scout can complete some or most requirements for one Brownie Badge. Check out the options for your group!

Webelo Activity Badge

During a lock-in, Scouts have the opportunity to complete the requirements for a badge. All Scouts participate in the same activity.

PlayGym uses age appropriate fun to encourage the development of motor, cognitive & social skills for children 4-months to 4-years.
