PlayGym

PlayGym

Research shows sensory activities are the best ways for young children to learn social skills and self-confidence. Fun-filled, age appropriate activities using colorful gym equipment and sensory stimulation provide a wealth of "food" for the brain. PlayGym themes provide an excellent opportunity for young children to learn new vocabulary, and caregivers and children can make friends and experience play like never before!

PlayGym will be returning to the Museum in our new Early Childhood classroom! More information will be provided in the confirmation email after registering for a session.

Registration is now open for May, June, and July Mini Sessions! REGISTER HERE.

UPCOMING SESSIONS

May Mini-Session
May 1 - May 26 (4 weeks)

May is filled with moms and outdoor discovery. We will explore bugs, pretend to play in rain puddles, and go camping. Of course, we will also celebrate mom for Mother’s Day.

Jumping June Mini-Session
June 5 -June 30 (4 weeks)

June brings the joys of summer as we play with colors, go on a safari, and celebrate dad for Father’s Day. We will also fly our flags high as we get ready for the Fourth of July.

Simply Summer Mini-Session
July 10 - August 4 (4 weeks)

We will have fun in the sun with a (pretend) trip to the beach and an ocean exploration! A lemonade stand and ice cream play will help us beat the heat during this summer session!

Fall Fun Session
August 21 - October 13 (8 weeks)

As school starts back, we will learn about buses, shapes, and ramps. This session also brings fall feelings as we play with apples, leaves, and sports! Things that go and space exploration round out this exciting session.

Holiday Dreaming Session
October 16 - December 15 (8 weeks)

This session is all about the holidays! From not-so-spooky Halloween parties to a sweet gingerbread celebration and all things in between. Exploring pumpkins, engineering and farms will just add to the festive fun! There are no classes the week of Nov. 20-24 in celebration of the Thanksgiving holiday.
